I booked the only room available - a premier plus accessible room. I didn’t need it to be accessible, so I emailed the hotel to say that I would be happy to swap to a standard room if one became available so that a disabled person could book the accessible room. When I got there I asked for a room with a bath (in what reality is standing in a shower a luxury???) and I was put in a standard room. Not a problem. I asked them to refund the difference, as I had paid for the premier plus room. The receptionist said the refund would be done, but it hasn’t happened yet. The room itself was fine, and I had a lovely soak in the bath.
Good location, convenient for rail station and bus services. Very friendly welcome. Room was very clean and comfortable. All-round good experience at a reasonable price.
