If you are looking for an overnight stay before going to Stansted airport then I cannot recommend the Cock Inn highly enough. The welcome we received from the gentlemen on the bar was very nice, the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The ladies who served in the morning were very friendly. The breakfast was a full English cooked to order. Checking out was very easy. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Everyone and everything was just typical english excellence. The food was exactly what we wanted and the surroundings are just steeped in history. I would definitely recommend this pub to all.
