The place was kept very clean, and the Indian staff warmed up to me after about 4 days. The rooms were beautifully themed for Indian culture. Door locks need to be double protected and close solid, so as not do bang when a window is open. The street is VERY noisy at night , and it’s easy to hear people talking in their rooms. These noises are not a good combination for finding sleep if you like to do so between 9-12pm. The place met my budget, and there were plenty of places to eat within walking distance.
The new management is cutting costs, and this affects the overall experience. They have to be careful. Otherwise loyal customers may abandon them.
