Dear The Pearl Management Team, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my stay at The Pearl. Unfortunately, the experience has been far below the standards I would expect from a professionally operated hotel. At first glance, the room appeared clean; however, after inspecting it more closely, I found several significant issues: • The bed sheets were stained. • The shower was broken and not functional. • There was no hot water upon arrival, and it took an excessive amount of time for the hot water to come through. • The mattress is old and extremely uncomfortable, with noticeable lumps. • Once I lay down, I noticed visible moisture/dampness on the ceiling and wall. • The public areas were dirty and not properly maintained. • The restaurant and bar were closed because it was Monday, but there was no clear information regarding the F&B operating hours. • I was never offered water upon arrival. I was eventually offered an upgrade, but by that point I had already completely unpacked my belongings in the original room, making the proposed solution inconvenient and insufficient given the number of issues I had already experienced. .
