The Eagle Inn · Santa Barbara

The location was good. Close to the beach but not very close to the downtown shops or restaurants. Parking was very limited in the carports which were always taken up, but there's more parking by the main office. We stayed at the Santa Barbara Casita and it was very nice but for the price it would have been nice to have a small kitchenette. The plumbing was very loud. The floors creaked. The pillows were very thick and hard on the neck. There were two TVs but they both came on and went off at the same time using the remote controls. The day we stayed there, workers were pulling off the screens on the windows to have the windows cleaned the next day. One of the workers entered our room without knocking which was very unexpected and rude. Thank goodness both of us were clothed and just watching TV. We did not like that at all. Breakfast was brought to our room which was much appreciated. However, the food was a little on the bland side. Check-In was very easy and the staff was nice. Also, the grounds were kept beautifully. Everything was very clean. Overall a very nice stay but in our opinion a little pricey just for two nights.
