We were caught up in the air traffic control failure of 8/9/26 and ended up paying £649 for a £150 room. When the NATS failure became apparent at about 4pm, the hotel immediately raised their prices. Dynamic pricing is one thing but this was extortionate and the experience clouded the start of our holidays, never mind our budget!
