Great time . Enjoyed the train ride and accommodations and lunch at Grand Canyon layover. If it was cut short an hour it wouldn’t hurt. We didn’t get back until 6:00 pm 5:00 would have been a little better . Long day
Upon arrival we were greeted by some nice receptionists. We went to our rooms and saw that they were okay, and not too clean. But what was really horrible was the food ! It was absolutely disgusting and seemed like it had been there for days. The buffet was free, but at what cost? You’re better off eating at McDonalds or at the pizza restaurant in the downtown area. Food was frozen hospital food with no flavor whatsoever. Please improve the food! I know it isn’t a five star hotel, but it’s really unacceptable. The train was so fun! Although you don’t get enough time at the canyon, the experience is beautiful, if you want to ride the train, just take the train. This hotel is below average. Also, the alarm went off twice in the middle of the night and woke my mom up.
