THe hotel is walking distance to the beautiful beach and lobby of Asilomar Conference Center. Asilomar is open to the public, since it is managed by the California State Park system. It is also very close to the 17 miles drive. It's clean and the receptionist / owner? we encountered on our checkout day was helpful and super friendly!
Great location, very near to Asilomar Dunes and the very beautiful State Beach. Quiet, comfortable. I enjoyed easy access to Asilomar's dining & bar area as well.
