Breakfast had more than the continental. I like protein, and this was the reason I chose Country Inn. Still- not real scrambled eggs- but some kind of egg patty thing that was probably made by a machine of some sort. One morning there was sausages, another morning there were sausage patties. Enough to get me going with the feeling of a substantial breakfast, and this is the name of the game for me. Enough to not seek out breakfast somewhere else and pay another $10-$20 and take yet more time out of the road trip.
The lovely young woman who checked us in. She also upgraded our room without being asked. The lobby - especially the relaxation room: (gas fireplace, music, TV., books, comfortable seating), and we were able to buy a beer to enjoy while sitting in there. Also that there was a security gate for the parking area!
