Unfortunately, our overall impression of the hotel was seriously affected by a very disappointing experience with their laundry service. We gave several expensive items belonging to my son to the hotel laundry and paid a considerable amount for the service, expecting professional and careful handling. Unfortunately, the clothes were returned damaged and ruined. When we reported the issue, we were told that the hotel would compensate us for the damaged items or at least provide some form of compensation for our stay. However, despite these promises, nothing was actually done. We received no compensation for the damaged clothes and no compensation from the hotel. What disappointed us even more than the damage itself was the extremely cold and indifferent attitude toward the situation. When a hotel offers a paid laundry service, especially at premium prices, guests should be able to trust that their belongings will be handled professionally and that the hotel will take responsibility if something goes wrong. How can guests feel comfortable trusting their personal and expensive belongings to a hotel when this is the way such situations are handled? Mistakes can happen, but the way a hotel responds to a problem says a lot about its level of service and respect for its guests. Unfortunately, in our case, no proper solution was offered and no responsibility was taken.
